College of Lake County students as well as community members now can purchase and renew Pace's discount passes and Ventra Card at the LancerZone Campus Store on the Grayslake and Lakeshore (Waukegan) Campuses. The Grayslake Campus' address 19351 W. Washington St., and the Lakeshore location is 31 N. Genesee St.
The Campus Connection Pass is a reduced-fare pass available for current college students. It is valid for unlimited rides on Pace's regular fixed route buses and Call-n-Rides every day of the week, at any time of the day. The pass is valid for an entire semester and can be purchased at any point throughout the year at a pro-rated price. To qualify, students must provide a copy of their current college schedule.
Additionally, CTA/Pace 7-Day and 30-Day passes are available, allowing unlimited rides for the duration of the pass upon activation, which occurs at first use.
Another option is Pace's Ventra card, and new ones can be purchased for $5 and loaded with any amount of transit value. Current Ventra card users can load multi-day passes and transit value to their card at LancerZone Campus Stores. Ventra card users can also have their balance protected if the card is lost or stolen by registering the card by visiting www.ventrachicago.com.
